A warm welcome awaits
you from Etta Beaton in her comfortable home
in Caroy, a quiet crofting township near Dunvegan, on the Isle of
Skye, the ancient seat of
the clan MacLeod.
It is an ideal centre
for touring the island, walking, climbing the renowned Cuillins etc
and it is also conveniently situated for day trips by ferry to the
Western Isles. Boat trips, visits to the seal colonies in Loch Dunvegan and guided climbs in the Cuillins can all be arranged
locally. There are a number of hotels and restaurants in the area
offering meals in all price ranges. Gaelic is spoken as a first
language by both Mr & Mrs Beaton.
